How can Dell make Black Friday unique, an event that takes place annually? And what’s more, how can we engage and motivate teams that have faced a year of major challenges, such as floods in Rio Grande do Sul, team restructuring and the rise in the dollar?
Inspired by the world’s most famous collectible t-shirts, such as “I Love NY” and “I Love Paris”, we created a desirable and collectible item: the most beautiful Black Friday t-shirt. This gave rise to the motto: “I LOVE BF, the Most Anticipated Moment of the Year.”
The heart symbol in the motto represented the unity, energy and collaboration of the teams in overcoming challenges. The blue heart refers to the love for the company, creating a sense of belonging. Thus, “I Love BF” energized the entire Dell, with all hearts beating in unison to make another historic Black Friday together.
• Set design: Spaces decorated with an Instagrammable sculpture “I <3 BF”, inspired by Robert Indiana’s LOVE work in NY, symbolizing love and unity. • Activations: Different activities throughout the week with photo totem, video platform, and personalized t-shirts. • Food: Full time, morning, afternoon and evening, with more than 7,700 snacks distributed. • Personalized T-shirts: More than 1,000 units. • Distribution of Hearts: More than 2,500 hearts in the shape of t-shirts, mobiles, stickers, cards and balloons. • Gifts and Surprises: Thousands of items distributed with activities from various Dell Technologies partners, such as Foxit, Adobe, Microsoft, Cyberlink, McAfee, Ingram. • Photos and Videos: Thousands of records shared with smiles and sparkles in the eyes.
We delivered another successful Black Friday, with engaged teams and reaching all sales targets! More than 700 people were involved, including sales and support teams, for 6 full-time days, with activities from morning to night. Bliss developed coordinated logistics and assembly involving more than 20 suppliers, a team of more than 50 people and a front line of promoters and producers who were super excited to transform 6 days into unforgettable moments, with a unique energy. Everything happened at the same pace for all teams.
